Somer Stampley (b. 1989, Hattiesburg MS) is a Brooklyn based artist and animator, working primarily with paper. Creating animations of her own, as well as music videos, including Hank Wood and the Hammer Heads’ “You Wanna Die,” Stampley’s work has been exhibited at Worship Gallery (Seoul, Korea), The Distillery Gallery (Boston, Massachusetts), Andrew Edlin Underground Gallery (New York City, New York), Rat Trap Residency (Bogota, Columbia), and Art Breu Gallery (Sao Paulo, Brazil), among others.
